A convenient, fast, efficient, and ecofriendly synthesis of metal‐free phthalocyanines from various substituted phthalonitriles in different hydroxyalkylammonium ionic liquids in the presence of 1,8‐diazabicyclo‐[5,4,0]‐undec‐7‐ene (DBU) is reported in moderate yields. The effect of concentration of DBU and temperature on the synthesis of phthalocyanine in N‐(2‐hydroxyethyl)‐N,N‐dimethylbutylammonium bromide ionic liquid has been examined, and the ionic liquid has been recovered and reused conveniently.  相似文献

The galactopeptide dendrimer GalAG2 ((β‐Gal‐OC6H4CO‐Lys‐Pro‐Leu)4(Lys‐Phe‐Lys‐Ile)2Lys‐His‐Ile‐NH2) binds strongly to the Pseudomonas aeruginosa (PA) lectin LecA, and it inhibits PA biofilms, as well as disperses already established ones. By starting with the crystal structure of the terminal tripeptide moiety GalA‐KPL in complex with LecA, a computational mutagenesis study was carried out on the galactotripeptide to optimize the peptide–lectin interactions. 25 mutants were experimentally evaluated by a hemagglutination inhibition assay, 17 by isothermal titration calorimetry, and 3 by X‐ray crystallography. Two of these tripeptides, GalA‐KPY (dissociation constant (KD)=2.7 μM ) and GalA‐KRL (KD=2.7 μM ), are among the most potent monovalent LecA ligands reported to date. Dendrimers based on these tripeptide ligands showed improved PA biofilm inhibition and dispersal compared to those of GalAG2 , particularly G2KPY ((β‐Gal‐OC6H4CO‐Lys‐Pro‐Tyr)4(Lys‐Phe‐Lys‐Ile)2Lys‐His‐Ile‐NH2). The possibility to retain and even improve the biofilm inhibition in several analogues of GalAG2 suggests that it should be possible to fine‐tune this dendrimer towards therapeutic use by adjusting the pharmacokinetic parameters in addition to the biofilm inhibition through amino acid substitutions.  相似文献

The strength distributions of the giant monopole resonance (GMR) have been measured in the even-A Sn isotopes (A=112-124) with inelastic scattering of 400-MeV alpha particles in the angular range 0 degrees -8.5 degrees . We find that the experimentally observed GMR energies of the Sn isotopes are lower than the values predicted by theoretical calculations that reproduce the GMR energies in 208Pb and 90Zr very well. From the GMR data, a value of Ktau = -550 +/- 100 MeV is obtained for the asymmetry term in the nuclear incompressibility.  相似文献

Design of highly efficient phosphorescent emitters based on metal‐ and heavy atom‐free boron compounds has been demonstrated by taking advantage of the singlet fission process. Continuous and repeated use of pesticides affects soil microbial flora and fauna and hence indirectly affects the activity of diverse microbial enzymes present within it. The present study investigates the interaction effect of different concentrations of monocrotophos on diverse hydrolases and oxidases, viz., protease, alkaline phosphatase, acid phosphatase, cellulase, amylase, invertase, arginine deaminase, and dehydrogenase, present in sandy loam soil of Rajasthan under in vitro conditions for 30 days. Soil sample was inoculated with three different concentrations of monocrotophos, viz., 50, 100, and 150 μg kg-1, and incubated in dark at room temperature. At regular interval of 5 days, sample was withdrawn and enzyme activity was calculated and compared with that of control. Application of various concentrations of monocrotophos enhanced the activity of diverse enzymes present in soil. Therefore, the study revealed synergistic or additive effect of monocrotophos on all the tested microbial enzyme entities. Increasing concentration of the pesticide, however, poses an antagonistic interaction on the increment of different enzymes activities. Therefore, it can be concluded from the study that monocrotophos impose a positive effect at low concentration of pesticide, whereas high concentration poses negative effect on the activity of different enzymes present in soil.  相似文献

Abstract

An efficient protocol for the stereoselective synthesis of pyrazolo[5,1-b]thiazole-3-carboxylate tethered β-lactam conjugates 8a–j from novel pyrazolo [5,1-b]thiazole-3-carboxylate substituted Schiff’s bases 6a–f is reported here. The reaction between various ketene precursors and novel Schiff’s bases 6a–f afforded exclusive formation of trans-β-lactams 8a–j. The substrate scope of this approach was investigated extensively by varying different groups (R, Z). All the novel compounds were characterized using various spectroscopic techniques, such as FT-IR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR, elemental analysis, 13C NMR (DEPT-135), and mass spectrometry in representative cases. Single crystal X-ray crystallographic study of trans-ethyl 7-(1-(4-methoxyphenyl)-4-oxo-3-phenoxyazetidin-2-yl)-6-methyl-2-(methylthio)pyrazolo[5,1-b]thiazole-3-carboxylate 8a has confirmed the molecular structure and the stereochemical outcome. To the best of our knowledge, the synthesis of such types of Schiff’s bases and β-lactam conjugates has not been reported so far.  相似文献

Glypiation is a common posttranslational modification of eukaryotic proteins involving the attachment of a glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI) glycolipid. GPIs contain a conserved phosphoglycan that is modified in a cell‐ and tissue‐specific manner. GPI complexity suggests roles in biological processes and effects on the attached protein, but the difficulties to get homogeneous material have hindered studies. We disclose a one‐pot intein‐mediated ligation (OPL) to obtain GPI‐anchored proteins. The strategy enables the glypiation of folded and denatured proteins with a natural linkage to the glycolipid. Using the strategy, glypiated eGFP, Thy1, and the Plasmodium berghei protein MSP119 were prepared. Glypiation did not alter the structure of eGFP and MSP119 proteins in solution, but it induced a strong pro‐inflammatory response in vitro. The strategy provides access to glypiated proteins to elucidate the activity of this modification and for use as vaccine candidates against parasitic infections.  相似文献
